The hunters search the infected Aquilaria tree, cut down the tree, dip this part of the wood in water for some days, and then leave to dry to obtain the Agarwood.

Agarwood is an undetermined, unsustainable and low yield product and requires discriminatory and extensive harvesting of Wild Trees.

Higher Cost:

Agarwood is the most popular and expensive wood globally, and it is not in range of everyone, only wealthy persons in the world can obtain the benefits of Agarwood.

Expensive Plantation:

Due to the higher demand for Agarwood in the world, the Aquilaria tree started to planted through modern cultivation techniques and methods. But plantation of Aquilaria tree is very expensive, and you have to invest a considerable amount for an extended period to obtain the Agarwood.
